Reason Behind

My boss has decided to kick me out of the company, and then gave me a month to stay.

I was told about it last Thursday morning. Tinawag ako ng boss ko sa opisina niya, at humingi ng updates on my existing accounts. After that, he told me about the bad news.

I was initially hired as a Business Development Consultant. Ang trabaho ko: explore other business opportunities for the company. Naging one-man team tuloy ako. I was doing everything, from planning to execution to monitoring.

The company is a small one. Nung pumasok ako, apat lang ang empleyado, and that already includes my boss.

After a few months, I was given an additional job scope: account management.

  15. I had a similar job 6 or 7 years ago. They used a different term: Special Projects Manager. Difficult, and there is a serious lack of gratitude from the employers I worked for (considering the amount of work I put in).
